It is the world of the Transformers...a world of heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons.
The Transformers - mechanical beings from the planet Cybertron - search for life-giving fuel and energy here on Earth. The evil Decepticons and heroic Autobots battle for control by transforming their bodies into vehicles, creatures, weapons, and more. While the Decepticons plan to drain the Earth of all her energized resources, the Autobots strive to defend the planet!"
My childhood truly began with the Transformers, those massive engines of destruction that will forever remain much more than meets the eye. Even in my most stressing, tiresome moments, I'll always find solace in the tales of these Cybertronian exiles - from the nobility of Optimus Prime to the guile and cunning of Megatron.
I tend to take life too seriously - or so everyone tells me. The Transformers will ever remain my balance point, my link to my inner child. Given how the world seems to be constantly in motion, it's comforting to have a central anchor point one can hold onto.
Well, this Transformers kid has grown up to be a geeky gay man in the so-called "big, scary world", and a lot has changed. I've moved on from a nearly 8-year relationship to risk everything with a new one. I'm no longer struggling to get by and am now a Process Training Manager for an outsource call center. I'm still determined to write my proverbial "one great novel" some day and I'm living a life that's geekier than ever before.
This blog continues to document my life as best as I can manage it. I do my best to keep this updated daily and am always open to comments and insights from those who stumble across my corner of the internet.

This LJ is a record of my personal history and I will write about anything that I consider a part of the sum experiences that make up my life. This includes but may not necessarily be limited to (1) things I've seen, (2) things I've heard, (3) things I've felt, (4) things I've tasted, (5) things I've smelled, and (6) things I've thought.
